Virginia Music Educator Composes NAfME’s New Audio Logo

 The National Association for Music Education (NAfME) held a “talent search” among its retired, active, and Collegiate members to inspire the composition of a musical motif and different arrangements that will be used in a variety of applications for the Association. The winning composer is NAfME member Stephen Melillo of Smithfield, Virginia, a composer and music educator.

The audio logo was premiered at Music Education Week in June and played frequently during National Assembly.
